1 Ток координации — предельное значение тока, выше которого при наличии двух последовательно соединенных аппаратов защиты от сверхтоков защитный аппарат, расположенный со стороны питания, как правило, но не обязательно обеспечивает резервную защиту второго защитного аппарата
2 Вместо время-токовых характеристик можно использовать характеристики I2t

предельный ток селективности Is Токовая координата точки пересечения полной время-токовой характеристики защитного аппарата со стороны нагрузки и преддуговой (для плавких предохранителей) время-токовой характеристики или время-токовой характеристики расцепления второго защитного аппарата.
Предельный ток селективности (см. рисунок А.1) — это предельное значение тока:- ниже которого при последовательном соединении двух аппаратов защиты от сверхтоков защитный аппарат со стороны нагрузки завершает операцию отключения, чтобы воспрепятствовать началу действия второго защитного аппарата (т. е. обеспечивается селективность);
- выше которого при последовательном соединении двух аппаратов защиты от сверхтоков защитный аппарат со стороны нагрузки может не успеть вовремя завершить операцию отключения, чтобы воспрепятствовать началу действия второго защитного аппарата (т. е. селективность не обеспечивается).
I - ожидаемый ток короткого замыкания;
Is - предельный ток селективности;
Icu - номинальная предельная наибольшая отключающая способность;
А - преддуговая характеристика плавкого предохранителя;
В - рабочая характеристика плавкого предохранителя;
С - рабочая характеристика нетокоограничивающего выключателя (N) (время отключения/ток и I2t/ток) Примечания.
1. А считают нижним пределом, В и С - верхними пределами.
2. Недиабатическая зона для I2t показана пунктиром Рис. А1.
Координация по сверхтокам между автоматическим выключателем и предохранителем
или резервной защитой, осуществляемой предохранителем.
